SUPER Easy Stromboli

Here is one of our favorite recipes! Paul LOVES this, and it's really easy to throw together ... points for me. Here is what you will need:

Pepperoni (1/4 pound)
Ham (1/4 pound)
Provolone Cheese
Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
Pizza Crust
Marinara or Spaghetti Sauce (for dipping)
Italian Seasoning
Garlic Salt
Olive Oil

375 for 20-25 minutes

And that's it! Layer the ingredients, and fold over the crust. Brush olive oil over top and add more spices. You could make your own crust, but I got a great deal (with a coupon) on this pizza crust, so why not make dinner easier :)

Happy Monday ... if that's possible ... ;)

Waiting ...

Nothing to exciting happening at the Hoover house the past couple of weeks ... we are waiting for Christmas!! The church has kept us busy preparing for the holiday! We are giving the bus kids presents this Sunday, having a Christmas party for the teens at our house on Thursday, having Christmas at Paul's parents house, and finally .... Christmas at the Hoover Jr. house!! :) Souls Harbor is having its Christmas service at 11:00 A.M. on Christmas Day. Christmas tree is up, baking is finished, presents are bought, decorations are still hanging, and cards are sent. All that is left to do is ... wait ... :)

Today's Goodies :)

Wednesday is shopping day at the Hoover home :) It's one of my favorites! I love finding ways to save my husband's hard-earned money!!

Spent $5 for all of this today at Walgreens!!
I got all the lotion for free and saved $15 all together :)

We had Chicken Alfredo Pizza tonight!! (just like Olive Garden) :) Here is the recipe!
I kind of make it my own ...

Chicken Alfredo Pizza

·       1 can refrigerated pizza crust
·       12 oz chicken tenders
·       1/4 cup flour
·       2 teaspoons oil
·       2 tablespoons chopped garlic
·       3/4 cup alfredo sauce
·       5 oz mozzarella cheese
·       1/4 cup chopped scallions
·       2 tablespoons parmesan cheese

Heat oven to 425 degrees.
Lightly grease a cookie sheet.
Unroll dough and place on cookie sheet.
Tuck in corners and press into pan and make slightly raised edge.
Bake for 7 minutes just until crust begins to brown.
Put chicken and flour into bag and shake to coat.
Heat oil in skillet and add chicken; saute for 2 minutes.
Add garlic and turn chicken; cook 2 to 3 minutes until pale golden brown.
Spread sauce on pizza crust and arrange chicken like spokes on a wheel on the sauce.
Top with cheese, scallions and parmesan.
Bake 6 to 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and crust is golden brown.
